Thanks for the update, the outside world needs to hear the truth as to what is
going on there on the front lines since our media is not reporting the facts or truth... human rights violations or the treaty rights in any type of truthful light. Once again a job well done by Independent media!

Thank you for your truth in reporting. In-depth and spot on. Identify lies. Refute them. I try to remain positive. Believe that the Constitution and #Treaty rights will finally be honored. It is time. Enough is enough.

What do you mean, "people who have come here for whatever reason"?
Everyone who went to Standing Rock was a water protector who went with good intentions.

Other concerns. Can you use Sitting Bull U to interview Colorado School of Mines about drilling thru Canon Balls cobble and black shale? They were reluctant but did say that would be. Driller's Nightmare! Can you get footage of the last Drone flight over the East Drill. There were strange Rams? In the drill and more beside the drill...people described loud hammering sounds Colorado School of mines said Hammering comes from trying to "fix" a drill attempt. Rarely does it work on a failed bore especially in black shale. Yesterday the liaison was asked if DAPL had agreed to stop work...is it silent? Simply a break for a 3 day holiday? Or does it mean the hammering failed too?

Dec 4 people heard drilling and drone showed a Drill working. DAPL Proclaimed they would drill across the river and just pay the fine. The drill failed. We know because drone footage showed them Frantically digging up the old gas pipeline 24/7 in -50 degrees and putting in a pump or valve. We know this failed because they did not meet their deadline on Dec 31. Losing contracts, immediate payment of Enbridge and Marathon of a 42% buy into ETP partnership and the loans they had were not finished because the unsecured part was based on the pipeline pumping oil by Dec 31. They had to take out a loan from ETE their Mother company..the snake swallowing its own tail. IF THERE HAD BEEN ANYWAY to pull pipe in December they would have done it no matter what! . Around Jan 29 people heard drilling again and Drone footage showed the West drill working. The drilling stopped and it was said they only drilled to the river and they stopped to wait for a permit. Why would they stop? When they already tried to drill across the river Dec 4? If they didn't honor the permit to begin with why now? This attempt at a drill failed because they tried again after Trump over rode EIS. People heard it..and then it was from both East Bank and West Bank. The people then said that it sounded loud like pounding...ie the attempt to save a failed drill .

DAPL IS DEFECTIVE! Colorado School of mines said that a body of water on top of black shale can crush the pipe even it they can drill/bore under the Lake. It would be wonderful to know if the sound resumes on Tuesday and have drone footage especially the East drill. The ferocity they attack drones fits. They don't want anyone to see or know that 4 attempts to drill under the Lake have failed...bad for loans and investors!the drilling companies usually only try 3 drills before they retract and call the drill a fail. DAPL can not get enough to reroute the pipeline now and really can't admit failure or lose future loans and investors.

Irony! The financing of the pipeline was partly based on selling oil and on Limited Recourse loans structured so that debt transition to Unsecured or non-recourse debt pending upon completion of a specific event ( oil flowing) MEANS all those people who are expecting bribes...will see Banks sweep in and take the assets under secured loans...no $ left for them! And the Irony of if DAPL had been honest and Consulted the tribes...they would have read the Engineers report from Cheyenne River Tribe and saved their company, stopped the Momentum of a Powerful world wide Movement and re routed their pipeline.

Final Irony....do you know what makes black shale black? Carbon! Carbon is the Ancestors! The Ancestors stopped DAPL. That brings it all back to a circle of Prayer

Thanks for your work, I loved seeing you ride down media hill after the first big snow! You're doing a great job. We need all the information we can get out here because the rumors and the mainstream media really aren't helping keep anyone informed in a good way.
